The Butchers Arms is a traditional free house pub lying in the heart of 'Cider With Rosie' country in the beautiful Sheepscombe valley near Painswick in Gloucestershire.
Although we are well known for our traditional home cooked food, "The Butchers" is still very much a village pub and you are equally welcome to drop by for a pint of real ale or a glass of wine. The area is a magnet for walkers, cyclists and tourists and attractions such as the Rococco Gardens and Prinknash Abbey are just a short drive away. Strolls in the local woods can be as long or leisurely as you wish and the less energetic can drink in the panoramic scenery from our garden terrace.
